we're at about 4350 ft in elevation & average between 12 & 16 ft a season, still wishin'.? just need a good shovel & a wood stove and you're set--a good woman helps too, lol

Sure do, my dream vacation would be Alaska, as long as I had everything I needed to be protected from the cold. I just love cold weather and snow for some reason

you would love the winter season here then, just summer & winter is all we get..you must have some scandinavian blood in your veins..& just 2 weeks ago, we had 2 different forest fires goin' on around us..

Hey you might be right...didn't think about that. I know my ancestors from the 1700s were from Switzerland and Germany so that might be why...cool

I live in Tennessee it's hot and humid here in the summer and snows about 1 foot on average per winter
