Extracting problem

Hi guys. I know this is probably a really stupid question but i am trying to unpack the data mod and store .pf files and i try to run it through the Extractpf program and it says "Unable to open file log"

Not sure what i'm doing. I've tried it both through msdos prompt and through just click and drag... I'm on Windows Vista so i'm not sure if that has something to do with it.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

hey dsimmons27
use the cd command prompt in win xp,i think this will work with vista too.
in win xp under start, all programs, accessories, command prompt.
it will look like this
c:\documents and settings\[your pc name]\>
here type the cd command to change the directory
for dtrsc type this in
cd c:\program files\ratbag\dirt track racing - sprint cars\mods [then hit enter]
for dtr2
cd c:\games\infogrames\dirt track racing 2\mods [then hit enter]
if you did it right it should look like this
c:\games\infogrames\dirt track racing 2\mods>
from here use the extract pf commands
example
extractpf data.pf [the hit enter]
let me know if this helps

Extracting pf files 101.

Read the extractpf.txt file.
Follow the directions exactly!!
Make sure that you also follow the directions in that the pf files are in the same( not the main directory---you will need to copy and paste) as the extraction utility.
Lastly, Any modification to these files will not result in changing the game cars! The game will always use the data, store, and min information first.
