DTR2 Setup Guide

Alright, I've seached the entire site (and google) for this but all I can find is, "Where can I get a good setup for?". This is NOT what I'm asking. I have now run all sorts of online and offline racing with downloaded setups and it just doesn't seem as fun (or fair) to use someone elses work to win races. I would like to create my own setups but, have no clue where to start. I know all the terms and such but, don't know what each individual parameter of the setup options do.

What I'm looking for is a guide that tells me what each parameter does such as, tightens/loosens grip, increases/decreases accelaration, increases/decreases traction, etcetera. I also need some extra help on gear ratios. I have absolutly no idea how these work. Just anything with some good detail would be nice. Something like how other games like Gran Turismo and Most Nascar games describe it.

P.S. Yes I've seen IFRT's solution chart. It's real vague and not what I'm looking for.
