Hello, Can someone tell me how to create Skins or Chassis for leadfoot? I have seen quite a few custom Chassis and skins and I figured I could try to make some. Thanks!

You need to download the 30 day trial of PSP7 from the downloads here at FUO if you dont have it for painting skins. Then go to www.freewebs.com/dtr2rookie for guides on how to get the skins in game.

Chassis are a lot harder and you need to download the de2 editor, also available here. That way you can open up the files that have the chassis models in them...then go back to that rookie site and it will tell you how to mess with the chassis even though the guides there are for making add on tracks...but use the same principles for making chassis. It's fairly hard to edit tracks and chassis though so don't give up easily.

Umm...I have never tried this program but do a search for "Gimp" editor I think yo ucan paint skins in it also...and it's FREE

I downloaded Gimp and it works, but it messed up the skin it make the whole car black, I probably did something wrong. PSP7 works though and I have created a few skins and they work good. Do you know and sites that tell exactly how to create/convert Chassis? Thanks

WEll, there should be a layer's palette or something in that gimp program, and you need to paint on the layer that says "body layer" I think is the name...and then make new layers and stuff for your numbers to keep them separate.

No I don't know of any sites that tell that but basically it's the same technique that is told in the track editing guides for creating them...Converting them is easier I believe but I don't know of any guides and I"m sure if you need a chassis converted someone here can do it. I believe I converted the leadfoot trucks to dtr2 for the heck of it and got it to work after bout an hour lol.
