Description
Ok. I've just completed Thrasher Speedway 2. I've completely re-vamped everything with this one. I fixed that nasty gap that was between the turns 3 and 4 wall and the track surface. I changed the banking from 42 degrees to 68 degrees and then carried the banking all the way around to the following straight for both turns 2 and 4. Flattened off the start line area making the landing of the Big Jump less disastrous and the race start more fair for guys starting farther back. I've changed the starting line up from 2 wide to 4 wide. I took out the dirt embankment in turns one and two and placed a regular crash wall. New grassy infield. New clay racing surface. The only problem I couldn't fix are the billboards above the wall in turns one and two. Apparently Ratbag has no set standard as to how a track is built from section to section. It's all sort of hap-hazard. There's no individual polygons for sections of the wall and billboards for those 2 corners which is pretty unusual. I could have spent weeks trying to sort that out but in the end I just decided that what happened at the track is a few vehicles earlier in your race evening flipped out though those billboards, damaging them. (Hey, as long as there's an explanation... I'm good with it
